Shoot at the fuse and the door will open. Just make a round circle around the room and wind this window. You need to be in the same location as the previous step. To open it, however, you’ll need to go the extra mile explained in the next step. You will find the Log just next to a locked door that needs opening. Just follow your path all the way toward the safe point and then take a left. When you climb the higher floor you just need to walk for a bit until you reach the Mining Control room and pick up the log.

You will need to use an elevator to get here first by picking up a cube box and placing it into the hole in the wall.

You need to head to the Mining Extraction Area and you won’t have any obstacles. This is the location where you are able to find the Miner’s Log in Dead Space Remake 2.
